Drexel's campus is horrendous. The 'rape garden' and crime portions are a bit out of date, but the campus is UGLY.

Sure, the school has been putting a bit of money into landscaping, but that doesn't help much. The school looks like a cheap corporate park. Think Dunder Mifflin World Headquarters. There are 2 or 3 beautifully designed buildings, but the rest look like harsh, Soviet era surplus design, made out of irregular buildings materials, by blind construction workers.

It's great if you like vast open spaces and concrete. Walk a couple blocks southwest to Penn's campus to see what a real university should look like.
