My Comments

i can't believe people actually think shit like that- Saudi Arabia would never endorse a democrat. You could see her racism bubbling when she referenced the 'obama for yo mama' shirt. disgusting. And CTsadler, you are totally right.

This article shows that the Republicans have actually started sacrificing babies in order to raise awareness of their campaign. Maybe that witch-hunting pastor should have prayed a little harder! Seriously, check this article out. It has an ironic anti-feminist message as well. People are so stupid.

I am mystified that they didn't ask McCain about negative campaigning and his reversal of stance on it. It would have been fair game since both campaigns are going negative right now. You know he feels like a dick about it or he would have done the Palin bullshit. I would have loved to see that turkey necked son of a bitch squirm or once again refer to 'that one.'

sorry, salesperson.

Andrew Sullivan brought up whether they could be increasing the likelihood of a nut going after Obama on his blog earlier today, which I actually thought was really interesting. Palin is basically calling Obama a terrorist- that is how the mccain campaign is 'rallying the base,' and when i say 'base' i mean 'base.' The rhetoric embraced by McPalin is desperate, hind brained, racist, evil, cheap, manipulative, vile, and just fucking wrong. Responding to mormonmist- she is not lynching him, but she's a hell of a rope salesman.

awesome... though i think the lower standards applied to her will sort of leak into people's expectations of biden, whose answers to the supreme court/abortion questions, juxtaposed to palin's, were unbelievably thought out and articulated. WIth all the focus on her, i forgot that articulate vp candidates existed. i hope other people have too, and that biden stuns them with poise and intelligence rather than some ill advised ad hoc zinger. if people think joe six pack is gonna be down with palin after tonight, they are sorely mistaken.
joe six pack isn't drunk enough to like this inane embarrassment of a candidate- joe twelve pack, maybe.

We all are aware that Palin is an idiot, but seeing her answer next to Biden's was illuminating. All the focus on her has lowered the bar for what a real answer to a question is that I felt like Biden was the smartest person ever. This is not the case, clearly, but hopefully the same principle will make her blow the debate harder than she's ever blown the first dude.

KP- And i guess WE were right that you are an ignorant, rude and prejudiced person.

Posted by: kdilkington on September 17, 2008 6:55 PM

This guy(bounds, which he is constantly 'out of') is unflappably dishonest. I can't imagine anyone being deeper in hell than this soulless manifestation of all that is fucked up in politics (okay, maybe mccain for allowing it to happen)

Karen Patterson- before i do this let me state that i really hate it when people type in all caps, but: YOU ARE THE QUEEN OF CONFLATION! Until you get your shit straight you should hang in back rooms like toilet tissue.

The leap from snorting cocaine to smoking crack- they are not the same thing. Didn't you understand the wine to pure grain analogy? guess not. i think i'm just gonna have to give up on you. I mean, the shit you are saying is the same bullshit that the McCain campaign is doing to slander Obama- ex: the lies about "sex education" for kindergartners when really all it would entail is age appropriate tips about how to avoid sexual predators. Honestly, if you can't see why your logic is stupid, then you are stupid and I give up...

Posted by: kdilkington on September 17, 2008 12:10 PM

they already did the whole opposite of care bears thing on Wundershowzen, so he might want to check that out before proceeding.

Posted by: kdilkington on September 17, 2008 11:56 AM

Karen Patterson, your false analogies are just completely laughable. The logical leaps are unbelievable. I bet you've had a glass of wine, so under your logic I would be able to say that you guzzled pure grain alcohol (i.e. imbibed a permutation of a substance in a different way). You are, quite literally, completely ignorant if you believe what you say. In the alternative, if you do believe it, then you are patently idiotic. Either way, your opinion or propaganda is bullshit.
p.s. I am a white male- does that somehow disqualify my opinion?

It is absolutely amazing that women are at all enticed by this condescending and sexist pick. it just goes to show one of the primary reasons that republicans do better than democrats in the campaigning process. democratic campaigns make the mistake of thinking that americans, on the whole, are swayed by logic. republicans think of voters as stupid, and sadly, they are somewhat closer to the mark. to say that palin and hillary share the same ideals is outlandish. unbelievable. who the fuck are these people?!?!?!?!?!?

Posted by: kdilkington on August 30, 2008 11:16 AM

This was a great piece, somewhat depressing though. The whole scene seems like third wave feminism gone awry- though these women are taking advantage of the patriarchal shit in society, they are also reinforcing some fucked up ideas.

all the "usurped" new yorkers are kids from omaha and wherever the fuck else who are going after the same mythologized vision of new york. the city is fast becoming a playground for rich kids from all over the country, not just L.A.

she may have totally fucked her team last night, but she is fine. her willingness to punch dudes who are dumb enough to request it only adds to her hotness. something tells me that guy wasn't really expecting her to do it.

i'm a little confused... can't they just use their superpowers to walk on water? cant they fix the boat with their minds? cant they control small animals and have them remove the asbestos?
