To get New Yorkers to stop eating salt, don't talk about their health. Talk about how heavy salt consumption causes the body to retain water. Eating salt = being a fat, sweaty fuck.
(Just like, for sure, some smokers quit soon as they learn nicotine makes their dicks seem smaller by inhibiting blood flow.)
