Is this what we are? Do people really believe this? How can people in 2008 say "nigger? I don't think Obama is the second coming of Christ. I am a product of my upbringing -- south side of Chicago (south side Irish). If you know what that is, you know that racism is common. But, my God, I can't believe that people actually think or say these things now. He is what appears to be a pretty smart man. What we've had for 8 years has not worked. Let's give him a chance. i'm honestly frightened if the venom I've seen here is real -- if people will react like that to the outcome. We are better than that. We have to be better than that.
