How do you reclaim your rep when you've been introduced to the American public as a bootylicious socialite? If you're Kim Kardashian—best known as Paris Hilton's stylist pal—you bide your time, mind your manners, and sign up for a reality television show. Then you stand back as it becomes a monster hit.

Currently shooting its third season, Keeping Up with the Kardashians showcases Kim and her surreally large, blended family--mom Kris Jenner, stepfather (and Olympic champion) Bruce Jenner, and nine siblings—playing, fighting, and reconciling like a modern day Brady Bunch ... if the Brady Bunch had spent an afternoon searching for Carol's vibrator. The highly successful series attracts up to 19 million viewers a month, allowing Kim to show the world the sweet, nurturing, entrepreneurial lady she really is.

Radar spoke with her about Hilton, her hatred for alcohol, her entanglement with O.J. Simpson—and, of course, her ass.

RADAR: Why do you think people like your family so much?
Kim:We're a real family! People are attracted to the glitz and the glamour, but they also like that we fight like normal families and make up like normal families. I think everyone goes through the kind of drama my family's not afraid to show.

A normal family? Your biological father, Robert Kardashian, was O.J. Simpson's lawyer!
My dad and O.J. were best friends since college. My mom was buddies with Nicole, and we all went on a family vacation with her a week before she was murdered. So the relationship was really way more intimate than people think. To me they were Uncle O.J. and Nicole. When we kids were at my dad's house we were pro-O.J., and at my mom's house we were anti-O.J. So it was definitely a lot harder than just my dad being his attorney.

Do you think O.J. was guilty?
This has caused a lot of turmoil for my family, so some things are best left unsaid. I remember going to the trial with [my older sister] Kourtney, and we would sit near my dad and look over and see my mom and Bruce sitting next to the Brown family. 
At the time we felt like we had to take sides, and we chose my dad's. Mostly because my mom was newly married to Bruce.

Was that the most difficult time for you as the child of divorced parents?
Yeah, definitely. The divorce happened when I was 10, and my mom met Bruce right away and six months later she was remarried. My mom had three girls and a boy and Bruce had three boys and a girl. After the trial we had to mend the family. And we did. My dad and Bruce became really close friends. Father's Day would be all of us together, and then the guys would go golfing.
