Of COURSE she's a low-ranking senator. Everyone has to go through it. Hell, Obama's not that high-ranking in the Senate either. Plus, McCaskill has repeatedly denied any interest in the VP spot. An example from The Hill: "If I were asked, I would ask some mental health professionals to visit Barack Obama. I just think Sen. Obama is way too smart to pick me.
