Sarah Palin "Impatient" and "Annoyed" With Couric, Thrilled With Fey

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin would quickly like to address some misconceptions you might have gotten by watching her on the TV recently. "Evidently, there's some interest in what I've been readin' lately," she intoned yesterday in Florida. "And I think it comes from—it's a result of—a probably less than successful interview that I had recently with kinda mainstream media."

The mere mention of the "mainstream media" causes the crowed to boo vociferously. But Palin says she's OK with her performance because she ended up giving Tina Fey more material! See what she did there? She's self-aware and not above mocking herself! She loves watching Fey rip her to shreds on TV! She even wants to be on the show! Just like Lucy! That's so great. The crowd agrees because they cheer vociferously. Then Palin says she was "a little bit impatient and a little annoyed" with the whole thing because she wanted to talk about issues like the economy and schools and health care, and not about readin' books and knowin' facts n' stuff. Then the crowd cheers some more.

So, yeah. It's not that she's unable to respond to questions that she hasn't been asked by asked by coaches in practice a million times over. She was just disappointed that Katie Couric's line of questioning wasn't as substantive as she would have liked. Damage control, successful!

Then they all ran home and watched themselves on CNN and made fun of Wolf Blitzer being named Wolf Blitzer.

I'm still waiting for her to apologize for being "unqualified" and "a moron"

Hey- Anything she can do to help a poor, starving artist like Tina Fey, off the unemployment line. What a gal! Gotcha!
