The
Chicago Tribune derided the "Obama Temple" and the "neoclassical setting replete with faux columns," the
Washington Post actually headlined
their story on last night's speech "Obama's Big Fat Greek Setting," (seriously?) while the McCain campaign went with the to-be-expected
"Barackopolis!" Oh, come on, now people. Barack Obama's backdrop last night didn't look familiar to anyone else? It's the view from the freaking White House
Rose Garden, with all the lights turned on to welcome the Democratic nominee and his family. And at the end of the night, when they all turned around to
walk inside, it was unlocked! Now that's some pretty genius messaging.
