One of two things, we think, led David Letterman to slip with the phrase "Sex and the Shitty" when interviewing Kristin Davis last night (trust, it was no mere mistake): 1. He thinks Sex and the City sucks, hates that he had to do that interview at all, and spoke his mind. 2. He's hinting at a depraved blow up-doll fetish for which he's come to prefer the Sarah Jessica Parker model (hint: the doll's name includes the words sex and shitty). In any event, thank God Paul Schaeffer, bandleader of a million deflections, was there to save it with a patented Sue Simmons: "Dave, what the fuck are you doing?"
