Jay Leno: Apparently all Mexicans look the same to the chinsmith. At Richard Jeni's funeral, he confuses comedian Paul Rodriguez with funnyman George Lopez. Earlier this year, Lopez called Leno "the biggest two-faced dude in TV." Leno says it was dark and he didn't have his contacts in.

Michael Chabon: Gatecrasher reports that Chabon's new book, The Yiddish Policemen's Union, was branded as anti-Semitic by the New York Post but that Chabon says being called a Jewish anti-Semite is a "badge of honor." Gatecrasher gets a gutter badge of honor in this item for sticking it to the Post.

Chloë Sevigny: The Big Love star's not feeling her British counterparts, saying, "I think Hollywood is a little too enamored with British actors, or people with accents."

Alec Baldwin: At least a few dowager gossips have Baldwin's back. Recently, Cindy Adams asked her readers to cut Alec a little slack. Today, Liz Smith comes out swinging for Alec, saying ex-wife Kim Basinger has a "tenuous hold on reality."
