Grazer Making Vivienne Westwood Pic?

PUNK LOCKS: Westwood in 1977; Grazer today
Judging by his spiked do, über-producer Brian Grazer isn't swayed by the fickle winds of fashion. So what was the movie macher behind The DaVinci Code and A Beautiful Mind doing at Bryant Park Sunday?

Sources say the visit, which included a viewing of Diane von Furstenberg's show and a backstage appearance at Naeem Khan's presentation, was research for an upcoming film he is set to produce about flame-haired style icon Vivienne Westwood, the fashion grande dame who, together with Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren, launched the punk look in the 1970s. Westwood's office declined to comment and a rep for Grazer couldn't immediately confirm the project, which isn't listed on IMDB.com yet.

Professional interest notwithstanding, Grazer seemed bemused by the theatricality of Bryant Park's three-ring circus. "It was so ridiculous," he told a fellow attendee. "At Diane, I thought I had a pretty good seat, and then someone said, 'Oh no, Section Double-Whatever is much better.'" But Grazer seemed to catch the Fashion Week spirit quickly enough; not long after, he asked the question every show-goer wants to know: "How soon is this thing going to start?"
